Lieutenant Tom Brian Wrathmell (217536), Corps of Royal Engineers. Royal Engineer, WWII, Bomb Disposal Officer. Killed while on bomb disposal operations. Buried in Stockport Cemetery, in the same plot as mother Ruth, father Tom and brother John David. Survived by sister Margaret (married name, Nelstrop), known as 'Peggy'. Attended Ackworth School in Yorkshire. Played rugby (Sale), lacrosse (Stockport LC), and cricket (Bramhall CC). Graduated from University of Manchester, with degree in architecture.
