& Ed's wife Allana. Devoted father of Debbie (George), Dale (Randy) & Darlene (Paul). Proud Grandpa of Lisa (Fred), Laura (Ash), Angela, Michelle, Trevor (Mia), Brian, Jordan & Claire. BIG Grandpa to Camille, Margot, Emma, Arya, Zayden, Makayla, Maddex, Aidan & Graham. Brother-in-law of Roy & Jane Nelson, Ian & Marjorie Nelson, & Carol Wight. Fond uncle to many, many, many nieces & nephews. Retired from Bell Canada after a long & varied career in telecommunications. Van served for many years on the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal. Van enjoyed many years with his Almart buddies at the lodge. Van & Barbara enjoyed their retirement years travelling, spending winters in Naples, Fl, and summers at their beloved Lake Louisa , where they first met . Forever in our hearts. We will all miss his bear hugs.
Funeral service will be held Saturday June 17th, 3 p.m. at St. Simeon's Church in Lachute QC.
